B.A. Business Administration and an A.A. Civil Engineering, Mr. Olguin opened Colorado Engineering and Instrumentation in 1986. Pete has worked for many different Geotechnical Engineering firms, including, Geotechnical Engineering & Mining Services (GEMS), Terrametrics, and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. Pete has over 31 years of experience in the instrumentation field.

|  | H. Kent Peter, Senior Project Manager(30 years of experience)
NWKAVTS, Civil Engineering, Kent Peter has worked in the Geotech field for over 30 years. Mr. Peter has also worked on many projects through out the World and the United States, including Chile, Indonesia, Alaska, Colorado, California, Utah, and Idaho. Kent also has a publication, Geosythetics Line Canyon Landfill, Geotechnical Fabrics Report, March/April 1990.

|  | David Olguin, Project Manager / Instrumentation Specialist(17 years of experience)
David Olguin has special training in Hazardous Waste Operations and Nuclear Gage Operations. Before joining CEI in 1990, Mr. Olguin worked for Steffen Robertson and Kirsten (SRK) for five years, performing sieve analysis, atterbergs, hydrometers, proctor compaction tests, and moisture content samples. Mr. Olguin has done many QA/QC projects for Soil Testing Projects. Mr. Olguin’s duties also include installation of piezometers, jointmeters, strain gages, crackmeters, reservoir transducers, inclinometers, thermistors, calibration of instruments, creating field reports, and the compiling of data.

Darren Olguin started with CEI full time in 1998 and has an A.A.S in Software Engineering. Mr. Olguin’s duties include installation of piezometers, jointmeters, strain gages, crackmeters, reservoir transducers, inclinometers, thermistors, calibration of instruments, creating field reports, and the compiling of data. Mr. Olguin specializes in the configuration and implementing of automatic data acquisition systems (ADAS).
Mr. Olguin’s responsibilities as IT Manager are primarily but not limited to install/upkeep of Local Area Network and maintenance of the company’s web site.

Rob Leahy started with CEI in 2006. Mr. Leahy is a Colorado Certified Master Electrician. Mr. Leahy duties are to manage the electrical division, estimate new projects, and work on and complete those projects.
